Adam Rossington delivered one of the standout innings of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League 2025, hammering an unbeaten 108 off 58 balls to guide Pokhara Avengers to a formidable 201/2 against Karnali Yaks at Kirtipur on Tuesday.

Rossington dominated from the start, striking 11 fours and 7 sixes, bringing up his century in just 55 balls. He built a match-defining 161-run partnership with Jason Roy, who contributed an impactful 46 off 34 with 3 sixes.

Captain Kushal Bhurtel added 18, while Dhananjaya Lakshan’s late flourish (23* off 11) pushed the Avengers past the 200-run mark.

Karnali’s chase starts well but collapses quickly

Karnali Yaks showed early promise in the chase thanks to a furious knock from Mark Watt, who blasted 59 off 34 balls with 5 sixes. However, once Watt departed at 95/3, the innings spiraled.

Rishi Dhawan (3/37) and Dhananjaya Lakshan (3/31) dismantled the middle order, while Bhurtel and Thagunna added key breakthroughs. Karnali were eventually bowled out for 167 in 19 overs, falling 34 runs short.
