New Cricket Stadium Announced for Pokhara

The Government of Nepal has announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Pokhara, marking a significant step forward in cricket infrastructure development.

The new stadium, which will have a capacity of 15,000 spectators, will feature modern facilities including floodlights, practice nets, and media centers. It will be designed to host international matches.

"This stadium will not only boost cricket in the western region but also contribute to tourism and economic development," said the Sports Minister during the announcement.

The project is expected to be completed within three years and will provide a much-needed venue for domestic and international cricket events.
