Following an outstanding show with the ball, the Nepal team sent the opposing batting lineup back to the pavilion after posting a paltry score of just 76 runs in 16.5 overs. Rubina Chhetry was the standout performer among Nepal’s bowling troops, claiming 3 wickets for 8 runs, Kabita Kunwar and Riya Sharma each got one wicket.

Getrude Chandiru scored 25 runs in the match but regular wickets and three run-outs restricted Qatar to a sub-standard total of just 76 runs.

Chasing a score of 77 runs to win, Nepal completed the task in quick fashion, as they recorded the score of 77 runs in just 10.5 overs. The top contributor was Bindhu Rawal with 33 runs off 30 balls and four boundaries, followed by Puja Mahato who remained not out on 28 runs, while Nepal skipper Indu Barma was also not out on 6 runs. Nepal now seat on top of the table after comfortable win over Qatar.
